A Family Affair

Special events for the entire family are scheduled throughout the summer. They include a family BBQ, lively Shabbat dinner, Banquet- a performance by your child, Our detailed event calendars and camp newspapers keep you abreast of all your children’s activities.

Creative Hands / Crafts
Camp Gan Israel’s innovative arts and crafts teach the children to be creative and imaginative. The crafts incorporate various themes in Jewish life as well as fun and useful projects. Campers are sure to proudly look back at the craft of their own hands well after the summer is over.

Lights, Camera, Action!
Comedy skits, talent shows, and auction days are just a few of the programs that challenge the children to develop their innate talents.

Play ball!
Supervised by our experienced instructors, children develop sportsmanship, confidence, and the ability to enjoy all sports, including Soccer, baseball, basketball, football, creative movement, and more.

CGI on the Go Field Trips
Gan Israel holds regular "trip days" which include theme parks, such as the Rapids, nature adventures, Super play Usa, Extreme action park and more. These exciting adventures allow our children to really show their true CGI spirit.

Swimming
The Wetter the Better!
Campers at CGI Swim at the local YMCA which is only a few short minutes from the campsite. Its a beautiful pool equipped with water slides and games. All Swimming activities are supervised by certified Red Cross lifeguards, as well as CGI counselors .The children go swimming once a week. They have other water activities on campgrounds. Tiny tots (if we have an age 3 this depends on registration) will be swimming in small pools on campgrounds approximately 2-3 times a week.

On swim days, children should bring a bathing suit towel and sunscreen in a tote or plastic bag. A quick test will be given to confirm children’s swim level before they will be able to enter the pool. It is advisable to mark bathing suits and towels with permanent ink or labels.
Tiny tots should bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, swim shoes and towel every day. for they swim in small pools on campgrounds.

Special Programs

Zumba With Pattie

With Certified Zumbatomic (zumba for children) campers will enjoy Zumbatomic –a fast-forward fusion of the Zumba program’s moves (salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hop and more) and high-octane workouts designed to let kids ages 4-12 max out on fun and fitness all at the same time. This activity will develop children’s imagination and creativity as well as have their energy and fitness levels soar as they get in to the Zumbatomic groove

Tae Kwon do or Karate details coming soon!


With a professional instructor kids will have fun and learn
Character qualities such as courtesy, respect, self-control, integrity, confidence, self-esteem, perseverance, dedication, and honor for oneself and others.as well as self defense and safety awareness skills.

Sports: With professional sports coach Matt Walby, campers will learn the inns and outs of Soccer & flag football. They will acquire new skills, and show them off in a grand game at the end of camp. Parents are invited to come and observe the new player their child has become.

Lil Chefs- cooking, baking food decorating and more each week campers bring home their very own delicacy. older campers will add the talent of food decorating to their creations.

this is all an addition to many exciting counselor led activities such as carnivals, games , crafts, hunts and much more.

All trips are supervised by camp personnel.

We encourage parents to join us on our trip to water parks we like to keep our ratio extremely low. please let us know if you can join.
