New for 2017!

Judo- Martial Arts- with professional instructor Salome Abeger

Judo is a marvelous and active combat sport that demands both a mental discipline and physical skill. The techniques help students develop the basic and fundamental physical fitness, such as strength, flexibility, agility, speed, dynamic and static balance, explosive power, and endurance. Practicing attack and defense develops reaction time, coordination, and self-confidence. campers will learn how to talk to a bully, what to do in a bully situation and how to defend themselves using Judo techniques

Salomé Abeger

Salome started training Judo at the age of 6 in Reunion Island, France under Richard Halouin who is a 3 rd dan black belt; this is where she got most of her judo training from. At the age of 12 she started competing regionally and nationality with a team and individually. She has won regionals a couple times at the age of 12 and 13. She won multiple state, and regional championships plus inter clubs competitions as well. In 2012, She won her first National title in Australia under 44kg at 15 years old.

Today, She  teaches judo and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu at the Brazilian Vale Tudo academy in Port saint Lucie. I

She teaches kids ages ranging from 5 to 12 years old and She also teaches an adult fitness class. Teaching Judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu to the children is very motivating and fascinating to her; and her quote "I love to share my passion and seeing the kids progress" we cant wait to have her as part of our camp staff.
